The Alpenpension Claudia is the small 3 star B & B dependence 5 minutes away from the **** Hotel Hochfilzer.

The newly renovated and cozy Pension Claudia, surrounded by its own garden with lawn for sunbathing, can be found at the quiet part of the village, still in a central position (in winter directly opposite the nursery slopes) – an ideal starting place for an active holiday in the Tyrolean mountains.

The rooms are lovingly decorated and furnished by the hotel's own skilled carpenter. They have en- suite facilities with either a bath or shower, balcony, telephone, cable-tv, hairdryer and safe.

The 4star family run AktivHotel Hochfilzer lies in the middle of the holiday village of Ellmau at the Wilder Kaiser. What was once a large farmhouse is now an oasis of relaxation for the whole family.

All facilities of the **** Hotel Hochfilzer are open to the guest of the Pension's full use.

Its cozy and familiar atmosphere is popular with regular guests, including the lots of small surprises that make it that special place to be. The kitchen with its longstanding team, the waiting staff and the chambermaids as well as the ladies and gentlemen at reception look after guests with enthusiasm and zeal.

The Hotel dining rooms, some of them newly renovated in typical Tyrolean style, are non-smoking. The Restaurant with its large sun terrace (sometimes with live music) is the perfect social place to spend your evenings.

In summer the village boasts a number of additional leisure activities: hiking, cycling, golfing, climbing, tennis, swimming, riding, paragliding, ballooning, rafting, etc. Almost everything is possible ...

Walking:
The Hotel's in house guide Didi will guide clients on beautiful walks through landscapes of great natural charm.

Golf Alpin:
The 27 hole golf course is a reflection of the mountains that surround it. It is challenging to the low handicap golfer, yet friendly to those with higher handicaps. 5 additional courses are within 20km (Kitzbühel, Erpfendorf).

Excursions:
Ellmau is ideally located for excursions. Famous Kitzbühel is a 10-minute drive away, while it is about an hour to Innsbruck, Salzburg and Munich. Numerous “must-sees” and attractions nearby.

Bathing pleasures:
On a hot summer's day the Ellmau Kaiserbad swimming centre and the nearby lakes offer cool refreshment. Those who prefer it a little quieter will love our hotel pool on the sundeck.
